INGREDIENTS
- 2-3 chipotle chiles in adobo
- 1 cup simple syrup
- 2 ounces blanco tequila
- ¾ ounce chipotle chile simple syrup
- 1 ounce lime juice, preferably freshly squeezed
INSTRUCTIONS
Remove the chipotle chiles from the can (leave behind as much of the adobo canning sauce as possible) and add to a blender with the simple syrup. Blend thoroughly and strain into a jar. Cover and refrigerate what you don’t use in the drink.
Mix the tequila, chipotle simple syrup and the lime juice in a shaker with ice; shake thoroughly and strain into a coupe glass.
